The typical kogyaru or kogal makeup as it it originated in Japan involves big dramatic eyes, slightly blushed checks and pink colored lips. Lashes in kogyaru fashion are very important. Fake eyelashes are placed on the outer corner of the eyes. The fake lashes are usually cut in half to add more of a doll-eye effect. An eyeliner is used to draw a black eyelash line to extend the natural eye length optically. Sometimes a fake tan is also used for the classic kogyaru makeup. Combined with an authentic outfit the kogyaru look is done.
